Another Fluffy Blanket Prop

So when I found the fluffy fabric from yesterday, I also found this right next to it!  I love it!  It has such pretty texture and colors!  Tarcil also really seemed to like it.  :)

Fluffy Blanket Prop

So the story behind this incredibly fluffy blanket is kinda funny.  I was shopping at the grocery store which has recently been remodeled.  Due to the work they did, they also rearranged some of the sections in the store.  So as I was walking towards the food, I ended up passing the fabric section, which I normally wouldn't be near.  I immediately spotted this remarkably fluffy fabric and knew that I needed to own it.  I thought it would make a wonderful prop for a newborn baby photography session.  :)  

Toys!

I am quick to buy lots of food for Tarcil, but I don't often buy him many toys.  I prefer to make things for him to play with.  However, when I saw these at a pet store, I thought he would enjoy them, so I bought them.  :)

Treats!!

I bought Tarcil some new treats again!  I love spoiling him!  This bag has a nice mix of yummy treats for him!  He especially likes the mango.  :)  Since I made him pose next to the bag and he did such a wonderful job, I of course gave him some goodies as a nice reward.  :)

Swing

This is the other swing on our swing-set.  Tarcil liked that he could see more from this one than from the baby swing, but he felt more insecure in this.  I think he looks so cute sitting there!  :)

Baby Swing

Mondays make me wish I was a baby that could just sit in this swing and forget about responsibilities.  Haha! :)  Tarcil is happy that he is a tiny hamster that does fit in this swing.  :)  I am happy that I finally have a reasonable way to entertain my nieces and nephews when they visit our home.  :)

Patio Chair

These are the chairs for our deck!!  I was initially nervous to get such a bright, bold color, but I love them!  They add the perfect amount of color to our grey and white deck.  Tarcil thinks these chairs are super comfortable.  I completely agree with him!!  :)  The weekends are so much more relaxing when I can comfortably spend time enjoying the outdoors!  :)

PUPPY!!!

My husband and I picked out a puppy!!! :) This perfect little guy is brown and white with a symmetrical face and crazy spots in the back! :) I love him so much! :) I can't wait until September to bring him home! I am seriously sooooooooo happy!!! :) AHHHHHHH!!! :)

Side Table

My husband and I have a big deck which meant that we wanted to get furniture for it.  We found an awesome set from Walmart for a great price!  We spent a few hours working together to put the pieces together.  This is the little side table the matches the big table.  Check back tomorrow for pictures of the matching chairs!!  :)  Tarcil likes this table because it is more his size.  :)

Deck Furniture

In the rush to move out, we ended up having this cabinet that we didn't actually want anymore, but weren't able to get rid of quickly enough.  My husband then had the wonderful idea of painting it white and using it on our deck.  So, after multiple trips to Lowes because we kept running out of paint, we finally completed this project!  I love the way it looks!  :)  Tarcil tried to hide on a shelf.  Isn't he just so so so cute??!!??

Lantern

I got this awesome lantern from my sister as well!  It looks so good on the table on our deck!  I haven't gotten a candle in it yet, but I hope to do that soon.  :)

Accent Pillow

This pretty blue pillow was a gift from my sister!  I have it on our glider on the deck.  Tarcil liked the edging on it.  :)

Welcome Mat

I think the best part of buying a home is in the details!  We bought this welcome mat to remind us of the love we have for our home.  :)

Tree

Tarcil thought it would be fun to check out this tree in our yard.  It has a nice spot where he can sit and watch everything going on.  :)

Old Wood with Vines

Tarcil found a pile of old wood in our yard.  I know it is old because there are vines growing throughout the wood.  Tarcil tried to take a nibble of the vines, but I stopped him.  He stared at me as if I offended him.  Haha!  :)

Deck

So one of my favorite parts of our new home is the big, beautiful deck we have!  I love it!  My husband and I actually spend time outside now!  We bought lights and strung them along the railing so we have some light in the evenings when it gets dark.  We really like it!  Tarcil got a chance to explore it some, and I think he likes it too!  :)

Chalkboard and Chalk

My sister gave me this cute chalkboard and some fun chalk for my birthday!  I can't wait to get it hung up and start using it!  :)

Yummy Banana

I love spoiling Tarcil with his favorite treat: Bananas!  He takes his time to eat them instead of immediately stuffing it into his cheek.  And I love seeing his furry paws gently hold the banana!  Seriously, I could watch Tarcil do almost anything and think it is automatically adorable!  He makes every little menial task sooooo cute!!

Plants

Today has been a lazy day in our house.  I unintentionally slept in, which wasn't that big of a deal.  I was pretty surprised that I was actually able to sleep that long!  I guess I needed the extra sleep!  Tarcil loves having lazy Mondays!  He liked looking at this flower pot of plants that I have had for a while now.  The plants no longer are contained within the pot; they are hanging over the edge onto the table.  :)

Penny and Tarcil

These two make me SO happy!  I have noticed that Tarcil's hair got a lot lighter when it got long, so they don't look like they match in color as well as they used to.  But they are still adorable buddies!  :)

Roses

My sister is the best and last week she gave me these BEAUTIFUL roses as part of a housewarming gift!!  She is so sweet!  She also gave us chocolate and a gift card.  The flowers are actually dead now, the chocolate eaten, and the gift card spent.  But the thoughtfulness will never be forgotten!  I love her so much!  :)

Cuddles

So....  Today is my birthday.  :)  And Tarcil is just unbelievably cute!!!  I really appreciate the fact that he likes cuddles!!  I seriously love this little guy so much!!  He makes every day so much better!  :)  Also, I would be a jerk if I didn't say Happy Birthday to my twin!  She is wonderful, amazing, and awesome!!  She is a huge part of my life and one of my best friends (my husband being the other)!  She is such a blessing to me, and I love living so close to her!  :)
