Wooden Box

I have wedding pictures from Saturday that I began editing today, but I figured I could take a little break from that to post these cute hams.  I did finally get some new pictures of them last week, but the pictures below are from a few months ago that I hadn't posted yet.

Fun fact: Whimzees (which are dog treats) are safe for hamsters to eat.  All my hams love them, and they are such a great treat for them to have.  Haleth goes nuts for Whimzees and will frantically run around her tank to find the perfect spot to stash it to keep it safe.  Although with how old she is now, she doesn't do much running anymore.  I love spoiling my sweet old lady.

Glorfindel tried so very hard to get this Whimzee to fit into his cheek pouch.  But no matter how much he turned it around and rearranged it, the end was still sticking out of his mouth.  I felt a little bad for laughing at him, but he was being just so silly!

Grey Chair

I had just gotten into the rhythm of regularly posting pictures of my hamsters for the whole month of March, and then I managed to miss the entire month of April and the beginning of May.  😐  But I got behind on posting because I've been busy with photo jobs which has been really good.

I'm honestly surprised to share with you that Haleth is still alive and well at now 27 months old!  These pictures were taken a couple months ago, and Haleth's fur is much grayer now.  She officially looks and acts like an old lady. But she made her own burrow for the first time a couple of weeks ago, which gave me an odd sense of pride.  I've always given her a tissue box full of bedding in the corner and she typically would "build" her nest in there.  But she actually dug a tunnel through the bedding down to the front corner of the aquarium which I love because I can kinda see her while she sleeps.  She's so cute!

Glorfindel sleeps very soundly and does not appreciate when he gets woken up for me to clean out his aquarium each week.  But I make sure he gets yummy treats and he seems to forgive me for the intrusion.
