Luna Lovegood

Happy Halloween!  Laurelin thought that the perfect way to end this series would be to do a Luna Lovegood costume.  I think Laurelin looks great.  😊 

I hope you all enjoyed the costumes this year!  Truthfully, I don't anticipate Laurelin living long enough to do more costumes next year.  She is approximately a year old now, so if she is alive next Halloween, she'll be quite the old lady.  If I am able to do this again in the future, regardless if it is with Laurelin or another hamster, I'd love to hear your ideas of what costumes you would like to see!  Also, in case you didn't know this has been a bit of a tradition for me, I have 3 ebooks that are all about the costumes that my first hamster, Tarcil, wore.  You can get them all on Amazon!

Captain Marvel

I really like that there are strong female superheros that Laurelin could dress up as.  Doesn't she look great as Captain Marvel?  Laurelin didn't seem to be too serious about this role though as you can tell by the last picture where she stuck her tongue out.  😂

Wonder Woman

I knew right away that I wanted to do a Wonder Woman costume with Laurelin.  Some days I feel like I am wonder woman with all that I am able to accomplish, but most days, I get frustrated with myself for not doing more.  I definitely struggle when I don't get enough sleep, and these past two months with Arien have made me struggle to get the rest I need.  But each day brings a new chance to do better than the previous day, and that thought has given me the encouragement I need to give myself grace on the days when I am struggling.  😊  And for those of you who might be wondering if today is one of those awesome days for me, I can assure you that the fact I haven't showered yet should be all the info you need to figure that one out.  😂

Princess Leia

As you can tell, I had trouble picking my favorite picture to use.  Laurelin really owned this Princess Leia costume.  I am so glad I was able to do this costume.  I am very excited for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker to come out.  It won't be the same without Carrie Fisher, but I am very hopeful that they will do a great job of ending this great saga.

Zelda

My husband and I bought a switch specifically to play Zelda Breath of the Wild.  We were not disappointed!  It is such a great game!  So I knew I wanted to have Laurelin be Zelda.  The dress I was basing this costume off of is much more complicated, but I figured I could still get the point across even by keeping it simple.  Having her pose in front of Hyrule Castle probably helps.  😊

Princess Peach

Here is Laurelin as Princess Peach in front of her glorious castle!  She makes a very pretty princess.  😊 Although her manners could use a little work... She tried to eat the tunnel.   😂

Lilo

This costume was done last minute since another idea just wasn't working out.  I actually already had this idea, but initially planned to save it because I was trying to figure out a way to include Stitch.  Even though Lilo is without Stitch, I still think she's super cute.  😊

Skeleton

Oh no!  There's a skeleton wandering through this grave yard!  😱  

Can you tell I'm enjoying this??  Laurelin is being such a great model for these costumes!  😍

Bumble Bee

Isn't Laurelin the cutest little bumble bee??!  She pouched her treat and then smelled the flowers.  😊

Ladybug

I am SO excited to announce that I am doing costumes again this year!  I already have had so much fun doing these!  I am done making all 10 costumes, but I still have some props and sets to finish up.  Laurelin did so well today, and I can't wait to photograph the rest!  I decided to start this year off with the cutest little ladybug!  What other costumes do you think Laurelin will wear??  

Carrot

I've been quite busy with our kitten, Arien, so I got behind on posting these pictures I took yesterday.  Laurelin loves carrots, and I barely got to see it after I gave it to her.  Despite her love for carrots, she didn't stop to eat any of it; she just stashed it away for later and took the opportunity to explore a bit.  She's so pretty and so good at posing for pictures!  😍

Tarmund was not really interested in this carrot.  He took a small bite of it but didn't bother pouching it, and instead, he set it back down so that he could explore.  He was much easier to photograph since he was contained to a smaller space.  I would also like to point out that he seriously looks like a mouse to me whenever I get pictures from straight on.  He is so precious!  😍
