Ladybug

I am SO excited to announce that I am doing costumes again this year!  I already have had so much fun doing these!  I am done making all 10 costumes, but I still have some props and sets to finish up.  Laurelin did so well today, and I can't wait to photograph the rest!  I decided to start this year off with the cutest little ladybug!  What other costumes do you think Laurelin will wear??

Carrot

I've been quite busy with our kitten, Arien, so I got behind on posting these pictures I took yesterday.  Laurelin loves carrots, and I barely got to see it after I gave it to her.  Despite her love for carrots, she didn't stop to eat any of it; she just stashed it away for later and took the opportunity to explore a bit.  She's so pretty and so good at posing for pictures!  😍

Tarmund was not really interested in this carrot.  He took a small bite of it but didn't bother pouching it, and instead, he set it back down so that he could explore.  He was much easier to photograph since he was contained to a smaller space.  I would also like to point out that he seriously looks like a mouse to me whenever I get pictures from straight on.  He is so precious!  😍

Peace

As the season begins to change, I like this reminder to have peace.  😊  Laurelin must not have been feeling much peace in this moment because she shoved the pecans into her cheeks as fast as she could.  Hahaha!

Tarmund is just so tiny and cute!  I really like his furry paws!  😍

Sunflowers

It's Fall!  I got these sunflowers as a part of the decorations I did for a session, and I thought it would be cute to have the hamsters pose with them.  Laurelin, of course, was so perfect and adorable as she sat and ate her lettuce!

In case you don't remember me saying before, Tarmund doesn't really stand in one spot for any amount of time.  So these are the best pictures I got of him!  😬  He's definitely making me work more on my skills and techniques, so I appreciate the challenge he gives me.  Also, one striking difference between dwarf hamsters and syrian hamsters is that syrian hamsters will rarely go potty outside of their enclosures while dwarf hamsters poop anywhere and everywhere constantly.  I bring that up as a reminder to myself that each time I get Tarmund out, I gotta do a walk through of all the places he has been to clean up after him.  😂

Pretty Colors

I love these pretty colors together!  I had fun with this tiny set-up in my studio.  I let Laurelin explore the bowl by herself, and she immediately jumped out.  I put her back in and decided to let the kitten join her.  The kitten spent most of the time sniffing the blankets, but finally started sniffing Laurelin too.  😂  They are pretty cute together.  Maybe they will actually be friends.  😊  By the way, when I first brought the kitten home, she weighed 125 grams which is about 75 grams less than what Laurelin weighs.  Now the kitten has grown a lot to nearly 380 grams.

Tarmund is seriously so sweet now!  I can't get over the complete change of heart he had since I got him.  Now that I have earned his trust, he doesn't bite and doesn't mind being picked up.  He is still difficult to photograph because he rarely pauses or stops; he is always on the move.  I was SO happy he paused though to eat the walnut so I could get these adorable pictures!  😍

Tarmund's first session!

This was Tarmund's first time out of his tank for a photo shoot!  This was actually so long ago, I don't remember when I took these.  😳  Tarmund is doing well, and despite the fact that he doesn't get as much attention anymore since there's a kitten in the house, he is still so sweet when he does get attention.  He doesn't bite me anymore which is great!  Hopefully I can get more pictures of him soon.  😁

Lamb

Isn't this little lamb just the cutest thing?!!?  I LOVE that Laurelin nibbled on it's ear!  😍  I seriously can't handle the cuteness!  💗
