Pretty Colors

I love these pretty colors together!  I had fun with this tiny set-up in my studio.  I let Laurelin explore the bowl by herself, and she immediately jumped out.  I put her back in and decided to let the kitten join her.  The kitten spent most of the time sniffing the blankets, but finally started sniffing Laurelin too.  😂  They are pretty cute together.  Maybe they will actually be friends.  😊  By the way, when I first brought the kitten home, she weighed 125 grams which is about 75 grams less than what Laurelin weighs.  Now the kitten has grown a lot to nearly 380 grams.

Tarmund is seriously so sweet now!  I can't get over the complete change of heart he had since I got him.  Now that I have earned his trust, he doesn't bite and doesn't mind being picked up.  He is still difficult to photograph because he rarely pauses or stops; he is always on the move.  I was SO happy he paused though to eat the walnut so I could get these adorable pictures!  😍

My Pretty Penny

I've had a lot of trouble bringing myself to do this, and I still don't know what to say, but my pretty kitty Penny passed away on Sunday night. We noticed about a month ago she wasn't eating as much, and then we noticed that she lost a lot of weight, so we took her to the vet and after doing an ultrasound, they found masses (likely cancer) in both kidneys, liver, and intestines. We took her home and loved her and kept her comfy until the end. She was about 7 years old, but I feel like I have had her my whole life as she is the last of a long line of cats that I grew up with. I choose her to keep because she was so much like my dear Tigger. She was a sweetheart that hated having her picture taken, but I did it anyways. She had a love/hate relationship with Beren, but she always liked the hamsters, especially Tarcil.

This first college is some of my favorite pictures I have of Penny.

This shows Penny's relationship with the other pets.

She was so chill and such a sweetheart.

The last three pictures I took of her.  In the top left, you can see where she was shaved for her ultrasound.

Penny's Tunnel

Tarcil was checking out Penny's Tunnel.  He just kinda sat there and cleaned himself for a bit.  Then Penny saw him and decided to see what he was up too.  :)

Tarcil with Penny's toys

I couldn't resist doing this!  This little basket is how I attempt to keep all of Penny's toys together instead of lost under the couches.  Tarcil fits pretty nicely in the basket and almost blends in with the cat toys.  :)

Just to be clear, I do NOT let the kitty play with the hamster.  :)

Tarcil and Penny

I love spending time each evening with my fuzzy little guy!  Penny gets super jealous and tries to stay as close to me as possible as you can see.  I seriously love these two so much!  :)
