Miniature Clue

I have had this miniature Clue game for a long time!  It only has the candlestick and the knife, but I found three tiny dice with it.  :)

Bell & Howell Camera

This is an old video camera that was found at my father-in-law's house.  Tarcil and I enjoy fiddling with antique items such as this.  :)  Unfortunately, there was no film with this camera.

International Astronomy Day

In celebration of International Astronomy Day, Tarcil built a telescope so that he could look at the stars!  :)

International Guitar Month

Apparently this month is International Guitar Month.  Who know?  I guess this is the sort of stuff you find when you are looking for obscure holidays.  Hahaha :)

This guitar was given to me by one of my friends a long time ago.  There have been two distinct times in my life since receiving this that I decided that I would teach myself how to play the guitar.  The first time, I learned about four chords that let me do a couple songs I had.  The second time I decided to use a phone app that would guide me through lessons.  Both times I quit practicing before I got any good.  So I guess that makes me one of those people who owns a guitar that they can't play.  :)

Stuffed Animals

The Zoo opens today!!  I won't go today, but I can't wait to go next week!!  Tarcil is helping me celebrate this exciting time by posing with his favorite stuffed animals.  :)

Antique Clock

This antique clock belonged to my husband's grandma.  It was made in Germany, and it still works!  Well, I can hear it ticking all day, but it doesn't seem have the correct time on it at the moment.  :)

TBT - Administrative Professionals Day

Yesterday was Earth Day which was widely known, but it was also Administrative Professionals Day! And as the administrator for my church's youth group, I wanted to do a throw back to this picture of Tarcil in my tote bag that I use for my work at church.  :)

Earth Day!

Happy Earth Day!

I bought myself some herbs, and Tarcil is "helping" me plant them!  This is the start of my very own herb garden!!  :)

Bailey

I am dog sitting for my brother's dog, Bailey!  She is so much fun and a little crazy sometimes... Haha.  I let Tarcil in her bed when she wasn't around.  I just can't get over how tiny he looks in that big bed!!  :)

New Tower

Today is Patriot's Day!  I have been working on this new tower for Tarcil for quite a while now.  I finally finished it!  This gives him so much more to do in his cage while not taking away from the ground space he has since this is multiple levels above the floor.  He loves it!  And as you can see, he claimed it for America.  Haha :)

New Shelves

My husband and I bought new shelves for house our ever growing DVD and Bluray collection.  Tarcil enjoys exploring each of the shelves.  :)

These little bells are from Holland, Michigan.  I love the beautiful blues on the crisp, clean white.  :)

Angel Friends

This is another little angel that once belonged to my mother-in-law.  It says, "Friends are God's way of taking care of us."  

Everyday Angels

This set of angels belonged to my mother-in-law.  I always enjoyed seeing them at her house, and now I get to see them everyday in my home to remind me of her.

Cat

Once again, I found this interesting and unique piece of jewelry in my tub.  I don't even know what it is supposed to be.  Maybe it's a cat??  Tarcil seems to be wondering the same thing.  :)

Owl

This would be one of the unique items I found in my newly acquired tub of jewelry.  This is an owl with red eyes and chest.  

I think Tarcil was begging me to let him keep it.  Haha.  Those puppy dog eyes didn't do him any good though.  :)

Pearls

Last week, my husband and I took home a tub of jewelry that belonged to his grandma.  So today, I decided to poke around in it to see if I found anything interesting.  There was plenty of interesting and unique items, but sometimes you just gotta go back to the classics.  :)

By the way, these pearls are fake which is why I let Tarcil bit them.  Haha  :)

Etch A Sketch

I don't know about you, but I seriously think these things are SO much fun to play with!!  Although, I am not really sure why.  Haha.  Anyways, I thought Tarcil should get a chance to see one that is his size.  :)

Happy Easter!

Yesterday was Easter! Tarcil thought that he could pass as the Easter Bunny. 

He tried to eat the plastic eggs...

I think this is the point when he realized that he wasn't fooling anyone. Hahaha :)

Red Flowers

My sister gave me these pretty red flowers.  They were part of a bouquet that she bought for herself a couple weeks ago.  They are just now starting to wilt.  Tarcil likes seeing any little bit of nature that he can.  :)

The Cross

Today is Good Friday.  This is one of my favorite crosses.  I have lots of them all over the house.  They are such a great reminder of what Jesus did for you and me.  :)

TBT

I haven't done any throw backs yet, and I think enough time has past that we can all appreciate a good TBT of Tarcil!  This was taken on the day I brought him home!!

Can you believe how little he was?!?!?  He looks so tiny!  I mean, he isn't that much bigger now, and yet, I think it is fairly easy to see the difference between then and now.  What a cute little baby he was!!  :)

The Great Escape!

Tarcil seems to have rigged up a makeshift ladder and rope from the toys in his cage and he has disappeared!!

April Fools!!  HAHA!

I am not much of a prankster, and I don't even like April Fools.  I think it is because I am so easy to prank and scare.  Haha.  Anyways, Tarcil is safe and sound in his cage with no hopes of escaping.  :)
