Thing Explainer

My husband is a HUGE fan of the website comic called XKCD (you can look it up for yourself at http://xkcd.com/).  I will warn you that the humor might go over your head if you aren't into math/science.  Anyways, the author of the comics wrote this awesome book called Thing Explainer.  My husband spotted it on Amazon and had to have it.  I think the Picture Taker is my favorite.  :)

This book is so simple that Tarcil probably understands it.  Haha  :)

New Shoes

So when I was shopping the other day, I accidentally went through the shoe aisle while on my way to a different section.  I was intrigued, since I rarely buy shoes, so I stopped and looked around.  I spotted these for $6, and on a whim, I decided it was time for me to buy new shoes.  I don't think my husband will mind.   :)

New Work Laptop

I got a new laptop to use for my part-time job at my church!  I had approval a while ago to buy one, but I was too busy to actually get one.  Ironic huh?  Haha.  I am excited to use it for work today!  :)  Tarcil has no idea what he is standing on, but he looks as cute as ever!!  :)

Keurig

So.... Today is Monday...  and I sure could use some coffee!  We had a very busy weekend again which included dog sitting and my husband getting sick.  :(  It's days like these that make me grateful for this Keurig that my husband bought me for my birthday a couple months ago.  I bought a reusable filter so that I don't have to buy the cups and I can use my own coffee.  It's been great!  :)

New Lens!

I bought a new camera lens!!  I love it!  It is pretty hefty, but helps me make beautiful pictures!!  Tarcil likes when I buy more stuff which can help him look even better.  Haha!  He is such a great little model!!  I love how happy he looks!!  :)

Another Pretty Blanket

I have a lot of little blankets now that are made with this beautiful, fluffy yarn!  I love them all!  I really love the colors of this one!  The blue, cream, and green go so well together!  Tarcil just loves how soft these are!  :)

Pretty Blanket!

I am finally getting back to crocheting and using up some yarn that I bought a while ago!  I made this beautiful blanket that is the perfect size for a newborn baby!  I can't wait to use it in a photography session!  This was made from the same yarn I used to make the baby cocoons.  I am glad I finally used up that yarn!  It made space so that I can buy new yarn!  Hahaha!  My husband says I have a problem.  Hehehehe!  :)
