Happy Birthday Joe!

Tarcil and I want to wish Joe a very Happy Birthday!  Tarcil joined in the festivities with a little cupcake treat while Joe and I are enjoying a red velvet cheesecake that I made.  :)

Escaping

It's Monday already...  Tarcil was trying to escape his play pen, but then when he remembered it was Monday, he decided to go back to playing.  :)

Peppermint Candies

Tarcil found my bowl of peppermint candies and I think he wanted one.  I didn't let him eat any, even though he was sooooooo cute!  :)

Expanding Universe

I think I have covered enough of what I got for my husband, so here is what he got for me!  This is a book of photographs taken by the Hubble Telescope!  The pictures are SOOOO beautiful!  It is mind boggling how massive and complex the galaxy we live in is and it is even harder to image the size of the universe!  This book makes me appreciate our home on Earth so much more than I ever have before!  

I tried to show Tarcil some of the pictures, but I don't think he cared.  Haha.  Silly little hamster.  :)

Plasma Globe

Again, this little plasma globe is a gift I gave to my husband for Christmas.  I think it is so neat!  I love watching it!  I think Tarcil liked this one too!  :)

Kinetic Art

This is another present that I got for my husband!  I love perpetual motion machines, and even though this isn't truly one of those machines (it runs on a battery), it is still so memorizing to watch!  I figured that if my husband didn't like it, then I would just keep it for myself!  Haha!  :) 

Newton's Cradle

This is one of the Christmas presents I gave to my husband!  I have been meaning to get him a Newton's Cradle for a very long time, but I never actually got around to it.  I am so glad that I finally got it!  He loves it!  :)

Tarcil couldn't figure out how to make it work... but he liked looking at the shinny balls!  Hahaha  :)
