The Cross

Today is Good Friday.  This is one of my favorite crosses.  I have lots of them all over the house.  They are such a great reminder of what Jesus did for you and me.  :)

TBT

I haven't done any throw backs yet, and I think enough time has past that we can all appreciate a good TBT of Tarcil!  This was taken on the day I brought him home!!

Can you believe how little he was?!?!?  He looks so tiny!  I mean, he isn't that much bigger now, and yet, I think it is fairly easy to see the difference between then and now.  What a cute little baby he was!!  :)

The Great Escape!

Tarcil seems to have rigged up a makeshift ladder and rope from the toys in his cage and he has disappeared!!

April Fools!!  HAHA!

I am not much of a prankster, and I don't even like April Fools.  I think it is because I am so easy to prank and scare.  Haha.  Anyways, Tarcil is safe and sound in his cage with no hopes of escaping.  :)

Palm Branches

Yesterday was Palm Sunday!  We had such a wonderful church service with lots of singing and special music!  The kids (including my nephew) performed a song and it was so cute!!

Tarcil doesn't like getting left out of anything, so of course I had to let him have his part of the fun.  :)

Building a Nest

Whenever I clean Tarcil's cage, I give him fresh tissues and other soft things to build his "nest".  And this is how he does it.  It is so funny!  I love the end where he is begging for more.  :)

Stealing Penny's Spot

Over the months, I have slowly allowed Tarcil and Penny (my cat) to meet.  I started by letting Penny sniff Tarcil without him seeing her in order to see her reaction.  When I was positive that she didn't view him as food, then I let Tarcil see her from a distance.  When he made it clear that he was not afraid of her, I started letting him sniff her.  Ironically, with all of the effort I put in, now Penny is terrified of Tarcil.  HAHAHA!  Seriously, Penny will only be around him if she can sit at a safe distance away.  If Tarcil starts moving towards her, then she runs away!  My cat is afraid of a hamster!  :)

So anyways, I thought it was fitting to show you a picture of Tarcil sitting in Penny's favorite spot, since Tarcil now rules this house.  Haha :)

Does he look smug to you?  I think this new found power is going to his head.  Ha!  :)
