Yummy Treats!

As I mentioned yesterday, I got lots of goodies for myself, and I made sure that Tarcil got treats of his own to enjoy!  He ate part of one and then stuffed the rest in his cheek for later!  :)

Candy

One of my favorite traditions this time of year is to buy discounted Easter candy!  I stocked up on all the goodies!  Tarcil checked them out, but he wasn't allowed to eat any of it.  I made sure that he didn't feel left out though.  :)

Basket

I am too old to get a basket filled with candy for Easter, but I couldn't resist letting Tarcil have that experience!  Isn't he so cute?!??!  I love his bunny ears!!  :)

Celebrating Easter Sunday (Yesterday)

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter yesterday!  And among the chocolate and jelly beans, I hope that you know the real reason for celebration on Easter!  If you want to check it out for yourself, you can read about what Jesus did for all of us throughout the Bible, but specifically in Matthew 28, Mark 16, Luke 24, and John 20.  Tarcil is glad that the tomb is empty and that Jesus is alive!  :)

RWP Logo

Today is a lazy day, and I am so thankful for that!  It has been a crazy week!  I am spending the day getting ready for Easter which is fun!  Some of the prep work was making sure my house was clean and nice.  In between dusting and vacuuming, I let Tarcil hang out for a bit.  He decided to pose next to this wooden logo that I made a while ago and got stuck in a box for a long time.  I am glad I have it out again!  Tarcil is so cute when he poses!  :)

Lattice

I did some redecorating in my house which included moving this lattice corner stand into our family room.  I am pretty limited in what I can do since we are renting our house, so that is why I love that I was able to create this beautiful corner space without doing anything to the walls.  You can't see in these pictures, but I hung some of my framed pictures from this lattice.  Tarcil was checking it out and I think he approves of my creative interior designing skills.  Haha  :)

Beautiful Blues and Greens

I will never tire of snuggles with my cute little Tarcil!  :)  He looks especially cute on this blanket!  His hair got a little crazy, but not too bad.  :)

Vibrant Blues and Yellows!

Even though it is officially spring, the mornings are still quite chilly!  It's always nice to have a blanket to snuggle under!  This quilt is my favorite blanket!  I love all the vibrant blues and yellows!  Tarcil always enjoys snuggling too!  :)

Celebrating Palm Sunday (Yesterday)

Yesterday was Palm Sunday and my church had a great service!  At one point the little kids sang and waved palm branches which is basically a tradition now.  I brought home some branches because I like to include Tarcil in everything.  :)  I caught him cleaning his face, but it looked like he was praying.  Haha!  He is such a sweet little hamster.  :)

Too Tired for Breakfast

I am so glad it is the weekend!  Tarcil must have partied extra last night, because he seemed like he was almost too tired for breakfast!  I gave him some oats as a treat, and he took his time collecting the pile from the floor into his cheeks.  :)

Now You See it...

I love that Tarcil stores food in his cheeks for later!  When I give Tarcil treats, if it will fit in his cheek, he immediately sticks it in his cheek!  So far I think bananas are about the only thing he will eat right when I give them to him.  Otherwise, it is there one second, and gone the next.  :)

Tarcil had fun helping me yesterday with goodies, and now today is the day to indulge!  Haha!  Oh, and Tarcil made sure he wore green!  He is so cute!  :)
