New Yarn

I bought some new yarn again!  It's been a while since I have bought any.  I am excited for the projects I am doing with these!!  I can't wait to get them finished!  :)

I also wanted to take a moment to say that I really appreciate all of the love and support from people all over the world these last two and a half years!  I never dreamed that this blog would get so much attention or that it would last this long!  Tarcil is very old and is starting to show signs of his age.  Many of you ask me how old he is.  I don't know his exact age, but I bought him from a pet store on September 21, 2014.  Even though Tarcil still seems very healthy, he does spend more and more time sleeping.  This makes it more difficult to take pictures of him, so I don't think I will be able to continue posting 6 days a week.  I will post as much as I can.  There are already over 700 posts, so if you are wanting more, feel free to dig through some older posts that you may have missed!  Thanks again for all the love and support!  And make sure you follow and subscribe to this blog so you don't miss some exciting news coming up!  :)

Peter Hollens Misty Mountains

Happy Friday!  I got this Peter Hollens CD for Christmas!  I love it so much!  I still have my Lauren Daigle CD in the car, so I have been listening to Peter Hollens when I am at home working.  It seems like every time I put it in, I am drawn to a different song.  I think my favorite song today is The Last Goodbye.  Tarcil's favorite is Arwen's Song.  :)

Joe's Birthday!!!

Today is my wonderful husband's birthday!  Tarcil and I wanted to wish him a very happy birthday!  Unfortunately because of his schedule today, Tarcil won't even see him, and I only will get a couple hours with him.  He is working hard, and I appreciate him soooo much!  I am excited for tomorrow when I get ALL day with him!  :)

Crystal Sled

Every Christmas after my family is done opening all our presents, my mom brings out an assortment of stuff that she has collected that she wants to get rid of.  Some of it is stuff she recently acquired from a relative who wanted to pass it down, some of it is her own stuff that she is ready to get rid of, and occasionally some of it is stuff she bought as presents but doesn't remember who she bought it for.  This crystal sled was something she brought with her.  I don't remember exactly what the story behind it was, but I think it belonged to one of my relatives.  I think it will make a lovely candy dish!  Tarcil wanted to take a ride in it first though.  :)

Tolkien Book!

My husband got this cute little book from one of his coworkers!  I can't wait to go through it!  We love everything to do with Tolkien in this house!  :)
