May Day

May is here already!  I can't believe how quickly this year is going by!  May 1st is traditionally called May Day.  I don't think that this is day is really celebrated much in the United States.  But if I am wrong, let me know how you celebrate it!  :)

Miniature Clue

I have had this miniature Clue game for a long time!  It only has the candlestick and the knife, but I found three tiny dice with it.  :)

Bell & Howell Camera

This is an old video camera that was found at my father-in-law's house.  Tarcil and I enjoy fiddling with antique items such as this.  :)  Unfortunately, there was no film with this camera.

International Astronomy Day

In celebration of International Astronomy Day, Tarcil built a telescope so that he could look at the stars!  :)

International Guitar Month

Apparently this month is International Guitar Month.  Who know?  I guess this is the sort of stuff you find when you are looking for obscure holidays.  Hahaha :)

This guitar was given to me by one of my friends a long time ago.  There have been two distinct times in my life since receiving this that I decided that I would teach myself how to play the guitar.  The first time, I learned about four chords that let me do a couple songs I had.  The second time I decided to use a phone app that would guide me through lessons.  Both times I quit practicing before I got any good.  So I guess that makes me one of those people who owns a guitar that they can't play.  :)

Stuffed Animals

The Zoo opens today!!  I won't go today, but I can't wait to go next week!!  Tarcil is helping me celebrate this exciting time by posing with his favorite stuffed animals.  :)

Antique Clock

This antique clock belonged to my husband's grandma.  It was made in Germany, and it still works!  Well, I can hear it ticking all day, but it doesn't seem have the correct time on it at the moment.  :)
