Modes of Transportation Pencil Sharpeners

As I mentioned before, I continually get random objects from my father-in-law.  The most recent is a huge collection of metal pencil sharpeners that belonged to my husband's grandma.  

Tarcil wanted to check them out.  He particularly liked this set since they are all modes of transportation.  He couldn't decide if he liked the motorcycle or the tank better.  Hahaha  :)  There were also trains, cars, boats, and even a carriage among this group.  

Make a Felt Hat Day and 300th Post!

Today is an exciting day because it is so many special days crammed into one day!  First, we have Make a Hat Day!  So of course Tarcil wanted to make a new hat to celebrate today.  Second, we have Wear a Felt Hat Day!  This means that the hat that Tarcil was going to make would be made of felt.  And third, this is the 300th post on this blog!  So that means that if you have just recently discovered Tarcil's blog, you have quite a lot to catch up on!  Tarcil and I would like to thank all of you who have been supporting us!  Tarcil loves all the attention he gets!  :)

Record Album

Almost every week, my husband and I spend some time with my father-in-law to help him clean out his house.  He has the leftover stuff from both his mother-in-law and his wife.  Usually we find stuff we don't want, sometimes we find trash, and occasionally we find treasures.  This vintage record album was one of those "treasures".  :)

Tarcil is always so interested in the things we bring home.  He couldn't figure out what it was, but he still liked looking at it.  :)

Penny Watching Tarcil

Penny likes to watch Tarcil, especially as he sits and cleans his face.  He is just too cute!  I love my furry little family!  And I am glad that they finally get along.  :)

Patriot Day

Today is called Patriot Day, and it is a day to remember the tragic events of 14 years ago.  Tarcil is showing his remembrance of the brave men and women who lost their lives as well as continued patriotism and support of those still affected.  

Young Living

I got a free sample of Thieves from a friend of mine who sells Young Living Essential Oils.  And tonight I am going to a party to get to learn more about essential oils!  I can't wait!  Tarcil is interested in checking this stuff out for himself, but I think he will have to miss the party tonight.  Haha  :)

Teddy Bear Day

Today is Teddy Bear Day and so Tarcil thought it would be appropriate to spend time cuddling with his teddy bears.  :)
