Most of our house is in boxes now! We close tomorrow on the new house! I am excited to get all these boxes unpacked!! We're so thankful for the help we have already gotten! We are excited to celebrate and show our appreciation of you all when we are settled in! Hopefully we can host a cook-out for 4th of July. :)
Moving means that we need lots of good, sturdy boxes! I talked to some former co-workers of mine to get some fry boxes from Chick-fil-A. These boxes have been great! We have already used most of the boxes! We are closing on our new house on Wednesday!!!! We have more packing and cleaning to do, but we are making a lot of progress! I can't wait to move and get settled in at our new house!!! We are gonna start moving our boxes right away, and we are moving our furniture on Saturday!! We are soooooo excited!!
I know this is a day early, but I plan on spending tomorrow relaxing with my Dad! So, Happy Father's Day to my Dad and my Father-in-law! I know that there is a chance that neither of you will actually see this, but I love you both! :) And to all the other fathers out there, I hope you all have a wonderful, fun, relaxing day with your families!! :)
Also, Happy Birthday to my Father-in-law! I can't wait to celebrate with you later today! :)
Vision Youth Conference is today in just a few hours!! I can't wait!! I love the t-shirts that we got made!! They look SO good! Tarcil wishes he could get one in his size, but I don't think that is gonna happen. Hahaha! :)
Okay so I know that so far this week has been focused on Vision Youth Conference which is TOMORROW!! But I have to interrupt with this update to our progress with buying a house. For the last couple weeks we have been buying and gathering packing supplies and are slowly, but steadily moving our belongings into boxes. Some days we get about 20 boxes packed with our stuff and other days we are lucky to even get one. I think we must be insane to be doing so many big events right now for the youth ministry at church while also attempting to buy a house, pack, and move all our stuff. Did I mention that we have SO much stuff??!!? This process has involved quite a bit of sorting through our stuff to decide what we actually want to keep, and then making numerous trips to donate our unwanted stuff at The Rescue Mission. I am fairly certain that Tarcil doesn't have a clue what is going on. He will figure it out when we get moved into our new house though. :)
Every good conference not only has prizes that can be won for completing a certain task or winning a game, but also has great freebies for everyone!! This little book called Epic by John Eldredge is a great book and so easy to read all at once! Of course I won't tell you all of the freebies in advance. You'll just have to wait to see them later! Vision Youth Conference is now only a couple days away!!! We are all so excited!! :)
