Robotics

Saturday, I got to experience my first robotics competition.  My husband runs a robotics club at the school he teaches at and this past Saturday was their first competition.  They weren't expecting to actually win any, but they did quite well!  I had a lot of fun watching them compete!

Tarcil had fun exploring the possibilities that this robot gave him.  He may have let the power get to his head as he got the control in his hands.  :)

Angel

This past weekend was super busy for me which is why I didn't get a post out on Saturday.  On Saturday, I went to the memorial service for the father of a friend and former coworker of mine, Carlee.  Her dad had been diagnosed with liver cancer around 6-8 months ago.  I know it has been really difficult for Carlee to go through this, but I also know she can be comforted in knowing that her dad is no longer in pain now that he is with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  The memorial service was really quite beautiful and special.  I never met Carlee's dad, but it was clear to me that he was very loved and will be greatly missed by so many people.

This beautiful angel came with a basket of flowers that I received when my mother in law passed away in September.

Peter Rabbit Again

I have a fairly large collection of Beatrix Potter items, and as promised, here is more of my collection!  This is a ceramic cookie jar and the first copy of "The Tale of Peter Rabbit" that I ever owned.  This book is very special to me.  :)

I have probably mentioned this before, but in case you missed it, I love Beatrix Potter's children books!  My favorite always was and is Peter Rabbit.  :)  I am sure this won't be the last time you see some of my collection.  :)

Cutie Pie

This is my little cutie pie, Tarcil!  I love him so much!  Today is an early morning of meetings at church, and it always makes me so happy to see Tarcil!  :)

Music Box Piano

My little Tarcil was playing on this piano that is actually a music box.  It was the perfect size for him.  He really seemed to like it!  :)

Cuddles with Tigger

My husband didn't have to work today, so it turned into a bit of a lazy day.  There is nothing better than cuddling in bed with those you love!!  :)
