Bath Salts

This little shelf doesn't have anything expect my homemade bath salts.  I made three different kinds with a variety of essential oils and epsom salt.  They smell awesome!  :)

Oils and Candles

This is probably my favorite shelf of the bathroom!  I have my little basket of essential oils and some nice big lavender candles.  :)

Basket

This little basket sits on another shelf in the bathroom.  I have some bath salts and some little nice smelling lotions in there.  I love it!  Tarcil felt that it was a perfect fit for him to sit.  :)

Towels

So I will admit that this week will have pictures that I already took.  I decided that I want to stay focused on Beren so I didn't want to pressure myself into taking pictures this week of Tarcil.  So this week you will be getting a tour of my bathroom!  Haha!  I had fun decorating it with random stuff I already had and making it come together to look nice and cohesive.  Tarcil is checking out the shelf with the guest towels.  :)

Puppy Gate

We are getting ready to go get Beren!!  AHHH!!!  I can't wait!  Anyways, I am sure that any experienced puppy owners out there were wondering if I would be getting any gates.  The answer is YES!  Haha!  While wandering through pages and suggestions on Amazon, I found this really nice gate that even has a little cat door!  We are using this to keep Beren out of our office since that is where Penny has her food, water, and litter box.  Unfortunately for Penny, I think the cat door on this is big enough that Beren would easily fit through, so until he grows some, it will have to stay closed and Penny will just have to jump over.  I think it will be some much needed exercise for Penny.  Hahaha!!  :)  As you can see from the pictures, Tarcil doesn't seem to understand the purpose of this since he so easily fits through it.  :)

For those of you that may be interested in seeing Beren and following his life, I have created a new blog that is just for him!  It is called Beren's Tale, and you can look at it by going to: http://www.berenstale.blogspot.com.  Enjoy!  :)

More Puppy Toys

So maybe by now, some of you think I am crazy for the amount of toys I bought for Beren.  If you are one of those people, then I will go ahead and assume you have never had a puppy.  Haha!  I know my husband thinks I am crazy, but he is nice enough not to tell me.  :)  You see, he has never owned a dog before.  I keep telling him that he is in for a treat because dogs are SO amazing and basically have unconditional love for their owners!  He says that Beren better be nicer than Penny or he won't be impressed.  So I have to remind him that cats only really tolerate the people that feed them and since he doesn't feed Penny, well, he should just be happy she is nice to him at all!  Haha!  Penny really is a nice cat, but she is still a typical cat.  :)  Speaking of cats, I don't think Penny will be very happy with us tomorrow when we bring Beren home!  Hopefully she warms up to him quickly!  I am already assuming that Tarcil won't even realize there is a dog in the house since he just sleeps all day.  :)

Rope Puppy Toys (600th Post!!)

I can't believe it is September already!  I seriously don't know what happened to August!  I think all this puppy preparations have made the time go by too fast!  We are now only a couple days away from bringing home Beren!  I am determined to make sure he has lots of toys to help him stay entertained, happy, and healthy!

I also want to acknowledge that this is my 600th post!  Again, I have no idea how that went by so quickly!  I want to take a moment to thank you all for the support you have shown me over the last couple years with Tarcil!  We will be celebrating two years with him soon!  He has been such a blessing to me!  I never thought I could love something so small as much as I do!  Tarcil has such a wonderful, sweet personality!  I wish that every one of you could meet him and see for yourselves!  But since many of you are on the other side of the world, you'll just have to take me at my word that Tarcil is amazing!  :)

If you are new to this blog, feel free to look around!  There is a lot to see!  Some of the most popular posts are of Tarcil in costumes and of Tarcil hanging out with our cat, Penny.  They are great friends!  Thank you for your support, and I hope you enjoy what you see!  :)
