Knit and Purl

I already started my next project!  This project incorporates a new stitch I learned which is called purl.  For this project, I alternated between knitting and purling.  I can't wait to get this finished!  Tarcil is trying to figure out what it is going to be.  :)

New Yarn!

I think I am officially obsessed with knitting!  I bought a bunch of new yarn for more projects!  I have been knitting in the evenings while the TV is on.  But occasionally I find myself knitting during the day when I should be working.  Haha.  Oh well!  Tarcil is enjoying the new yarn, and he can't wait to see what I make with it!  :)

Takenoko

Alright, so if I am honest, Takenoko is probably my new favorite game!  This game has an emperor you are trying to please, a farmer that grows bamboo, and a panda that eats the bamboo.  It has the perfect amount of uncertainty and complexity while still being simple and so much fun!  Tarcil enjoyed seeing the game!  I think he wanted to eat the bamboo.  :)

Forbidden Desert

I really love Forbidden Desert!  This is the sequel to Forbidden Island which is also a great game!  Both games are cooperative games which is part of the reason I love them so much!  Forbidden Island seemed almost too easy to me because I have yet to lose that game.  However, Forbidden Desert brings lots of difficulty!  There are various ways to lose the game and only one way to win!  I would like to mention though that I have won the game before!  Yay!  Haha  :)  I also want to point out that Tarcil looks adorable as he explored the game.  :)

Tsuro of the Seas

Tsuro of the Seas is the "sequel" to Tsuro.  In this game, instead of making sure your ship is just avoiding the other players, you also have to avoid dragons.  This game is fast and different every time as you build your own path through the perilous waters.  Tarcil liked looking at the ships.  I don't think he noticed the dragons, because he kinda walked right over them....  Haha!  :)

Love Letter

If you find yourself too busy to play board games or maybe you find yourself in a waiting room, then this is the perfect game for you!  Love Letter is so quick and easy to play!  And the entire game fits into a little bag that would fit in your purse or a pocket.  By now it shouldn't surprise you that my family bought the Hobbit version of this beloved game.  We love Tolkien!  :)
